Dharma Talks & Discussions with Khenpo Chophel

Twice a month Khenpo Chophel leads a group discussion on Gampopa's Jewel Ornament of Liberation, and on the fourth week Khenpo leads us in a teaching on the Buddha's Dharma and answers our questions.

Qi Gong and Dharma Teaching

Experience a one-of-a-kind Qi Gong and Beginning Buddhism class taught by Master Zhong Hai of Triple Crane and our Khenpo Tshering Chophel. This opportunity fuses two meditation traditions with a basis in the fundamentals of Buddhism.

Meditation on Compassion 🎥

Developing compassion is the current focus of our weekly open meditations. In combination teaching/practice sessions, Khenpo Chophel is teaching Lojong, or mind training—techniques which aim to open our hearts and nurture genuine care for all beings, including ourselves!

Join us on the last Friday of each month at 11am as we worship and provide a feast offering to all! During our prayers, we meditate on the enlightened qualities we need in our lives and strive to take on those qualities for the benefit of all beings.

Ngöndro Group 🎥

Second Tuesdays at 7:00pm on Zoom

This participant-led group is dedicated to supporting practitioners of the Vajrayana preliminaries, known as ngöndro in Tibetan. If you are doing ngöndro  or planning to start it soon, this group will give you the opportunity to share experiences, ask questions about your practice, and deepen your understanding of the Vajrayana path.

Nonviolent Communication Revisited

Second Saturday of the month, 12:00-1:00pm

What is nonviolent communication and why should we cultivate it in all our relationships? This secular discussion group addresses these questions, then develops skills presented in Marshall B. Rosenberg's classic Nonviolent Communication and Oren Jay Sofer's Say What You Mean.
