The purpose of these prayers to the protectors of our lineage is to reduce obstacles to our center as well as its members. If you aren't a Mahakala practitioner, you can do your own practice like ngöndro (Vajrayana preliminaries), mantra, or meditation during this time.
“All that is conditioned is impermanent. All that is tainted is suffering. All phenomena are empty and devoid of self. Nirvana is peace.”
These four powerful insights are the core of the Buddha’s teaching, setting Buddhism apart from other beliefs and philosophies. They offer a unique perspective on life, emphasizing both the transient nature of our experiences and our potential for inner peace.
In four sessions, Khenpo Chophel will dive into these teachings, making them accessible and relevant for today’s world. Whether you’re dealing with stress, looking for meaning, or just curious about Buddhism, this transformative series will provide tools for a more mindful, peaceful, and fulfilling existence.
This puja is to the protectors of our lineage where we pray for the longevity and security of our center. If you aren't a Mahakala practitioner, you can do your own practice like ngöndro (Vajrayana preliminaries), mantra, or meditation during this time.

Monthly Feast Offering September 28, 202412:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Join us on the fourth Saturday at Noon as we worship and provide a feast offering to all our students and members! At a feast offering, or tsok, we meditate on enlightened qualities we need in our lives, give food offerings to them, and take on those qualities for the benefit of all beings. Our center offers a worship rotation that we announce in our newsletters.
