All Buddhist practice is made up of 3 trainings: Listening, contemplating, and meditating. Usually we listen and read a lot, so we get no shortage of teachings. But we often skip the second stageā€”contemplationā€”and therefore don’t progress beyond a certain level in our meditation. In this talk on November 2 at Noon, Khenpo Chophel will explain what contemplation is and how we can use it to fully understand the teachings we have received so that our meditation can reach a deeper level.
